It is the latest generation of the most clinically proven resin cement available in a Clicker Dispenser and easy-to-use automix syringe. The dental material provides comfortable and easy delivery of cement saving time. This high performance self-adhesive resin cement offers high adhesion, resistance to discoloration, offers no post-operative sensitivities and has long term stability of the prosthesis. RelyX U200 contains an additional monomer and a brand new rheology modifier which leads to better mechanical properties and excellent overall adhesion.

3M ESPE RelyX U200 Self-Adhesive Resin Cement
Relyx U200 is a dual cure resin cement from 3M. This means that it undergoes hardening both by chemical curing and light activation . Even though this resin cement can undergo hardening by chemical curing (self curing), light activation can fasten the setting. RELYX U200 is a clinically proven Self–Adhesive Resin Cement and successor to U100 introduced in 2002.

Misconception in the minds of dentists about 3m U200
There is a general misconception in the minds of dentists about Relyx U200. It is generally thought that U200 is used to cement only metal free indirect restorations and crowns. The biggest advantage of this self adhesive dual cure resin cement is that they have the highest shear bond strength compared to other luting cements. Mixing time – 20 sec
Setting time – 6 min/ light cure each surface of tooth for 20 sec
INCASE OF INLAY,ONLAYS, FPDS AND BRIDGE
1- Avoid using lentulo spiral
CEMENTATION-
step1- clean the tooth surface using polishing brush, water and air.
Note- do not use hydrogen peroxide as it may irritate the tissue.
step2- dispense a little quantity of cement onto the mixing pad. If its automix, you just need to push the plunger. If its the clicker variant, push down the white part of the product and push the plunger. Clean the opening after use.
step3- mix dispensed cement with spatula for 20 seconds.
step4- light cure for 1-2 sec and remove the excess cement using the blade or explorer. Setting time is 6 mins including the working time or light cure per surface for 20 sec.
step5- finish and polish
